Hi, I’m Mara Lerner. I’m the founder of Sololingual. I started this blog based on my own personal language learning experiences and my passion for learning foreign languages and blogging. In addition, I ended up earning my college certificate in language interpreting.

I wanted to share with you my knowledge, different language learning methods, programs and resources at your disposal so that you can achieve becoming fluent in any language. Unlock the hidden secrets to easily attain fluency in your desired language, all while embracing the joy of learning.

Despite all of its benefits, many people are nevertheless wary of it. Many people believe that learning a new language will take too much time, be too difficult, or be too expensive. That, however, is not the case.

You can learn a language while having fun, watching film and television, listening to music, studying a short amount each day, and spending very little money.

Fluency isn't difficult to achieve. In fact, it’s easy when you find a solid method that walks you through every step of the way and believing in yourself while learning your chosen language.

You may even encounter along your language learning journey that you don’t have a clear path that can help you achieve your goals much more quickly, or you may not know how to deal with your mindset during the different stages of your language learning journey, or even just doubting yourself due to disappointing past learning experiences due to methods and/or myths (*cough* high school Spanish or French) that becoming fluent in a language is too challenging and impossible.

Sololingual is a platform to help anyone at any age, from any place, who wants to learn a new language. Learning a language in the beginning can certainly be tricky, but it doesn’t have to be. I wanted to blog and help others achieve their language learning goals.
